Canon 270EX II Speedlite Flash

Canon Speedlite 270EX II Flash

The Canon Speedlite 270EX II is a compact, lightweight, and versatile external flash designed for photographers who want better lighting without adding bulk to their camera bag. Weighing approximately 190g without batteries, its ultra-compact design makes it an excellent choice for travel, everyday photography, and compact camera setups with a compatible hot shoe.

Compact Design with Bounce Flash

The 270EX II features a bounce-capable flash head, allowing you to tilt the flash to 60°, 75°, or 90° for softer, more natural-looking illumination. While it does not swivel, its bounce capability is a significant advantage over fixed-head flash units.

A 2-position manual zoom helps concentrate the light on your subject for more efficient use of the flash's power. When using the bounce function, the flash operates at the telephoto zoom setting.

Reliable Canon Performance

The Speedlite 270EX II uses E-TTL II/E-TTL autoflash technology and is compatible with Type-A EOS cameras that support these systems. It also works with many compatible Canon PowerShot cameras equipped with a hot shoe.

The unit features a durable metal mounting foot and locking mechanism, while its small footprint makes it easy to carry in even a compact camera bag.
